The Uefa Champions League is set to return this year in February and Chelsea now led by Graham Potter will play German side Borussia Dortmund In the last 16.

According to the schedule, the first leg of the match will be played in Germany on February 15 and the return leg at Stamford Bridge on March 7.

It is no longer news that Chelsea’s new owner Todd Boehly completed expensive signings in the recent January transfer window, with Enzo Fernandez becoming their eighth signing in a British record £107 million deal on deadline day.

Other players Chelsea signed include Joao Felix on loan from Atletico Madrid, £88m Mykhailo Mudryk and £35m Benoit Badiashile.

However, going by UEFA rules, the Blues can only register three new players for the knockout stages.

This means Chelsea will have to make a decision on which three out of the eight new faces Graham Potter will add to their squad before Thursday night.
