Chelsea under their new manager, Thomas Tuchel have an edge of winning two trophies in the ongoing campaign.

The Blues made it to the finals of the FA Cup and the UEFA Champions League.

Today could see the Blues lift the FA Cup as they are set to face Leicester City in the finals at Wembley stadium.

Speaking ahead of the match, football pundit, Paul Merson has stressed that the Blues could end the season without a single trophy to their name.

This comes after Chelsea defeat to Arsenal in the EPL during their midweek game.

Following the loss, Tuchel admitted he made too many changes to his squad. Merson however noted that it could become the Blues undoing if the same is done vs. the Foxes.

Merson said, “You’ve come this far. Play your best team. The name of the game was to get a top four spot sewn up before the final. ‘Instead, he made loads of changes, they lost, and the door is now open again for the teams who are chasing them down.”

After playing Leicester City, Chelsea will then face Manchester City in the Champions League final and Merson warned that more changes during the final games of the season could leave the Blues with nothing.

“Chelsea could end up with two trophies and a top-four finish this season. Or they could end up with nothing. It’s all on a knife-edge, and they’ve put themselves under pressure,” he added.
