What Ten Hag expects of Mount at Old Trafford

Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag has sent a message to the club’s latest signing, Mason Mount as he revealed what is expected of the English midfielder.

Ten Hag said he wants Mount to be ‘a very important player’ for the Red Devils.

This comes after the midfielder on Wednesday completed a transfer from Chelsea to Man United in a £55million deal plus £5m in add-ons.

After he was unveiled as a Man United player for the first time on Wednesday, Mount was spotted with Ten Hag in different pictures.

Ten Hag told Mount with a smile: “I want you to be a very important player for this team.”

In his first speech as a Man United player, Mount revealed his conversations with Ten Hag were the main reason he chose to move to Man United.

“Everyone can see that the club has made big steps forward under Erik ten Hag,” Mount said.

“Having met with the manager and discussed his plans, I could not be more excited for the seasons ahead.”
