Chelsea legendary player Didier Drogba has sent a message to the club’s midfielder Mason Mount following his departure from Stamford Bridge to Manchester United.

Recall that Mount on Wednesday completed a £ 55 million transfer to Old Trafford, which ended his 18 years at Stamford Bridge.

The England midfielder made it to the spotlight through Chelsea’s academy, which he joined at the age of six.

Reacting to Mount’s exit announcement video, Drogba wished Mount all the best.

“Another prince leaving the club of his life,” said Drogba, who added a broken heart emoji.

“Thank you and all the very best to you, champs.”

Meanwhile, Mount is tipped to be a regular player in manager Erik Ten Hag’s squad at Old Trafford, having been handed Cristiano Ronoldo’s iconic shirt no. 7 after he was unveiled on Wednesday.
