What is the odd for Chelsea? 2 clubs likely to miss spots in UCL

Chelsea are focused on finishing in the top five to earn a spot in the Champions League next season, however, former Manchester United star, Gary Neville, believes the Blues don’t stand a chance.

In a recent statement, Neville predicted that Chelsea and Nottingham Forest will miss out on Champions League spots.

Of the top five on the Premier League log only Liverpool and Arsenal have already confirmed their spots in the Champions League for next season.

The five other teams are, however, currently battling for three spots ahead of the final day of the season.

These clubs are Newcastle United, Chelsea, Aston Villa, Manchester City and Nottingham Forest who hope to join Liverpool and Arsenal in Europe next season.

The former defender believes Newcastle United and Aston Villa will end up in the top-five, while Chelsea and Nottingham Forest will miss out.

“At the moment I think Man City will just get in there, I think Newcastle will get in there and I think Aston Villa might just sneak in,” he said.

Speaking via Sky Sports, Neville opined that Nottingham Forest might just hamper Chelsea next weekend as he topped Aston Villa to beat Man Utd Old Trafford.
