Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino in a statement admitted he could coach the Blues rival Tottenham Hotspur if the opportunity avail itself again.

Recall that the Blues appointed the Argentine as their manager this summer after he left French Ligue 1 side PSG.

Pochettino before joining PSG was with Tottenham where he formed a strong emotional bond with the North London supporters during his five-year years at the club.

But the 51-year-old admitted “we cannot guess” the reception he would get from the home fans on Monday night when he led the North London side’s rivals.

When asked if he could go back, Pochettino replied: “Who knows? Who knows? It’s a club like Southampton or Espanyol or Newell’s Old Boys.

“It’s like life, you never know what is going to happen tomorrow. Hopefully, I can stay here until I die! 20 or 25 years, but you never know in football. It’s a club, for sure if I’m not working, maybe if they want me one day. Why not?”
