Werner, Kepa to leave Chelsea this summer

Few days left to the end of the summer transfer window, there claims that Chelsea could still see some of their senior players leave.

The Blues goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga and Timo Werner have been linked with moves away from Chelsea, and the report has also been confirmed by Fabriazo Romano.

Like Kepa, Werner has struggled for game time under Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel and could see more of his game time reduced in the soon-to-commence season, especially with the presence of Raheem Sterling.

Kepa on the other hand lost his spot to Edouard Mendy, who is now Chelsea’s number one goalie.

The report revealed the two Chelsea players want to depart ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup starting in November, with Werner keen to play for Germany and Kepa for Spain.

Werner has been linked with his former club RB Leipzig, with talks ongoing.

Kepa has been linked with moves to the Italian league where he could join Napoli.
