Wenger hails this Chelsea player as being exceptional

Former Arsenal coach, Arsene Wenger has been full of praises for Chelsea midfielder, N’Golo Kante who he described as being exceptional.

There is no doubt about Wenger’ statement about the French midfielder as a lot of football pundits as well as fans have been applauding him.

Kante once again gave the Blues another of his top performance which he has been doing since joining them from Leicester City.

The French man made more than 45 appearances for the Blues this season and helped return them to the top four on the premier league table after they dropped to the 9th spot under former manager Frank Lampard.

He was also instrumental to the Blues recent victory in the Uefa Champions League as he was named the man of the match during their game vs Real Madrid in the semi-final and against Man City in the final.

Wenger stressed that Kante has developed to become the best midfielder in the whole of Europe.

Speaking to beIN Sports, Wenger said: “N’Golo Kante has added something to his game.

Before he won the ball and he made a good pass, he was an exceptional ball winner.

“I say an exceptional ball-winner because he wins decisive balls without making a foul.

“But he is now capable of running with the ball and making a good pass in the final third.

“That’s why I am certain he is the best all-round midfielder in Europe at the moment.”
