Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchal has reacted to the decision taken by the Video Assistant Referee VAR during their game vs. Leicester City in the Premier League on Tuesday night.

Although, Chelsea won the game with 2 goals thanks to efforts from Jorginho and Antonio Rudiger, however, the Blues could have scored more goals if the VAR had not worked against them.

This is because the VAR ruled out two goals scored by Timo Werner and also denied a penalty when he appeared to be kicked by Youri Tielemans inside the box.

Tuchel in an after match statement expressed his frustration by the decisions taken by the VAR.

He said: “It’s a clear penalty. They [VAR] are horrible against us and it’s the third time in a row.

“We have a goal against Arsenal denied with handball, we have a goal against Leicester in the cup with a hand and today, it is a penalty but the foul goes against us.

“This has to stop of course but we were not worried at half-time. We just said ‘let’s do it again and force it’.”
