Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek has shared his take on the club’s newest signing Andre Onana.

It is no longer news that Man United have reached a £47 million deal with Inter Milan to sign Onana this summer transfer window.

The report revealed the Cameroon star arrived at Man United’s training ground on Wednesday to finalise his deal with the Red Devils.

Ahead of his unveiling as Man Utd’s new goalkeeper, Onana is expected to join the rest of the Red Devils squad for their pre-season tour of the United States.

When asked about his thought on the club’s decision to sign Onana from Inter, Van de Beek, who was the Cameroonian international teammate during their time at Ajax, was quoted by Metro UK as saying: “Yeah, he is a great goalkeeper.

“I played with him for many years, great personality, he is good with his feet, good on the line, my expectations are high for Andre.

“He is a great person as well, I still speak with him sometimes, he is a top-class goalie.”
