This summer transfer window might not be a busy one for Premier League Champions Manchester City.

According to a report via ESPN, Manchester City are willing to go into next season with the same team they currently have.

The Citizens led by Pep Guardiola, who won their fourth consecutive Premier League title last season, may not seal a major signing this summer unless a player asks to leave.

However, going by the futures of key players like Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva, and Ederson uncertain, Man City hierarchy are keeping an open mind about their summer transfer business.

As of now, De Bruyne, Silva, and Ederson have not asked to leave Man City, meaning there might not be any need to bring in replacements this summer.

However, there are speculations that Man City would try to secure deals for João Cancelo and Kalvin Phillips after the duo had loan spells at Barcelona and West Ham United last season.

While the Citizens will consider loan deals, but the preference is for permanent transfers.

Meanwhile, the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal are in the race for a striker that scored goals so they can compete against Man City next season.
