Chelsea underperforming winger Mykhaylo Mudryk has been linked with an exit from the club ahead of the Blues in the January transfer window.

Recall that the 23-year-old Ukrainian was close to signing for Arsenal in January 2023 but the Gunners were unwilling to accept Shakhtar Donetsk’s price demands.

Arsenal’s hesitation made Chelsea hijack the transfer as the Blues paid the sum of £88.5m to sign Mudryk to Stamford Bridge, forking out an initial £58.9m.

However, since arriving at Stamford Bridge, Mudrky has not been impressive for the Blues as he has struggled at the front.

He scored seven goals and created five assists in 62 appearances for the West London side.

Last season, Mudryk managed to score a five Premier League goals.

While his contract with the Blues doesn’t end until 2031, a report via talkSPORT revealed he is keen on leaving Stamford Bridge in January.

Chelsea are also willing to let him leave and are ready to count their losses despite the millions they paid to sign him.

So far, Mudryk has been linked with a possible transfer to the French Ligue 1 where he could sign for Marseille, who are now being coached by former Brighton & Hove Albion manager Roberto De Zerbi.
