UCL: These two Chelsea players praised vs Malmo

Former Chelsea football star Joe Cole has been full of praises for two Chelsea stars, namely Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Callum Hudson-Odoi, following their impressive performance vs Malmo in the Uefa Champions League on Tuesday night.

Chelsea had defeated Malmo in the first leg of the tournament some weeks back and have repeated it again in the second leg.

Reacting to Chelsea’s recent win, Cole said Loftus-Cheek was ‘excellent’ against Malmo, while Callum-Hudson made an impact during the encounter.

Chelsea scored a goal vs the Swedish side thanks to an effort from Hakim Ziyech in the second half.

“It was routine, they got the job done,” Cole told BT Sport.

“It wasn’t amazing, but there were a lot of positives to take.

“Ruben Loftus-Cheek was excellent, he delivered tonight. Callum [Hudson-Odoi] made an impact. They got the points in the bag and they can focus on the weekend now.”

Chelsea continue with their impressive performance this week even without the presence of their key strikers and will now return to the English premier league this weekend when they face Burnley.
