UCL final: Man City will get revenge – Owen

Man City and Chelsea will head into one of the biggest matches of the season which also signified this ongoing season.

The Blues and Man City will return to action at Porto in Portugal.

While Man City will hope to pick up their first UCL trophy, Chelsea will be hoping to add a second to their collection.

Man City are favourites to win owing to the kind of squad they have, however, Chelsea under Thomas Tuchel have defeated the Citizens twice; in the FA Cup and the premier league, thus making the game hard to predict.

Speaking ahead of the match on Saturday, former England football star, Michael Owen has tipped Man City to win the trophy.

He believed it would be a moment for the Citizens to get revenge for the defeat they had suffered against Chelsea this season.

“However, one blot in their [Man City] pursuit for a treble came against Chelsea in the FA Cup. Thomas Tuchel masterminded a 1-0 win, so there’s no doubt the Londoners will quietly fancy their chances here,” Owen was quoted by Metro.

Owen believes Man City have gotten enough time to prepare for the match and he believes they would emerge victorious.

“With that in mind, I’m going for City to win their first and much coveted, Champions League trophy with a 2-0 victory,” he added.
