Chelsea returned to another tonight in the Uefa Champions League where they battled it out with Premier League champions, Man City.

The match which took place in Porto Portugal was an interesting one to behold as the Blues dominated Man City to the end of the game.

Chelsea had the early lead in the game thanks to a lone goal from Kai Havtez which saw the game end in a 1-0 scoreline.

While many had expected the Citizens led by Pep Guardiola to win, it turned out Chelsea new manager, Thomas Tuchel does indeed understand Man City weakness.

Since arriving at Stamford Bridge, Tuchel has met with Man City three times and have defeated on all three occasions.

Tuchel dumped Man City out of the FA Cup, he also defeated them in the Premier League and now in the UCL finals.

As it stands Chelsea are the winner of the prestigious UCL trophy for this season and it is second as they first won it back in 2012.

Chelsea under Tuchel also finished in the top four on the Premier league table, winning the UCL is a good way to end the season.

Going by Tuchel’s performance within a limited time, there is every likelihood that the Blues hierarchy would hand him a new contract soon.
