The Uefa Champions League for this season started on Tuesday with EPL sides Chelsea and Man Utd facing Zenit and Young Boys

For Chelsea, the game which was played at Stamford Bridge ended in a  1-0 victory for the Blues.

Man Utd on the other hand, started quite well with Cristiano Ronaldo giving them the first goal in the first.

While many would have expected the game to be an easy win for Man Utd, especially with the presence of Ronaldo in the squad, it, however, ended in a 2-1 scoreline in favour of the Young Boys.

One player that can be blamed for the Red Devils loss is Jesse Lingard owing to his poor backpass, which gave the other side an edge.

After Ronaldo scored the first goal, the game turned around after Aaron Wan-Bissaka was handed a straight red card for a high challenge on Young Boys’ Christopher Martins.

In the second half, the Young Boys got an equaliser thanks to Moumi Ngameleu.

When it looked like the match would end in a draw, Lingard tried to find David de Gea, but his backpass found Theoson Siebatcheu, who fired in the second goal for the Young Boys.
