Two players who are not worth the money Chelsea paid to sign them

Former West Ham United star Frank McAvennie has lashed out at Chelsea stars Raheem Sterling and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who he described as ‘terrible players.’

This comes after their poor performances for the Blues in the ongoing 2022–23 season.

Sterling, who was one of the highly-rated players at Manchester City until his transfer last summer, has failed to live up to the expectations of fans at Stamford Bridge.

So far, he has scored seven goals and created four assists in 35 matches for his club this season.

Aubameyang on the other hand, has scored just three goals and provided one assist in 21 appearances.

“Raheem Sterling and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang have been terrible for Chelsea this season. The club has got nothing off them. How can they pay that much money for those two? I hate saying that about players.

“Sterling has not established himself as a world-class player, and he should have by now. Neither of the players is interested,” McAvennie said.
