It is no longer news that former Chelsea coach Frank Lampard has been named as the favourite to become Everton, next coach.

However, the latest report has revealed that two current Chelsea coaches could join Lampard if he gets the Everton managerial job.

The Toffees are closing in on hiring Lampard after they sacked their former coach Rafael Benitez a few days ago.

Lampard has been out of football management for a year now after the Blues sacked him in January 2021.

Since then, the former England international has been gearing up for a return to football management and has been linked to one club or the other at some point, but it didn’t work out.

Hopefully, Everton interest in him could see him become their next coach.

A report via the Daily Mail revealed that Lampard could be set to take two current Chelsea coaches in the persons of Joe Edwards and Anthony Barry, who have close relationships with him.

However, Lampard assistant manager at both Chelsea and Derby County, Jody Morris, is not expected to join the former football at Everton, with the two men focusing on their careers individually at the moment.

Everton will return to action in the FA Cup tournament on February 5 when they face Brentford
