The report via ESPN claims Chelsea coach, Thomas Tuchel would prefer the club to sign Robert Lewandowski from Bayer Munich than sign Cristiano Ronaldo from Man Utd.

Tuchel wants Chelsea to join the race for Lewandowski if he shows any willingness to play in the EPL.

So far, Bayern have turned down multiple offers for the 34-year-old from Barcelona, who are the Poland star’s favourite destination.

But the report claimed Tuchel is monitoring the situation in Germany and would want Chelsea to pounce if a deal is feasible.

The Blues are in the race to sign a new striker this summer after Romelu Lukaku completed a one-year loan deal to Inter Milan.

While Chelsea’s new co-owner, Todd Boehly, wants Ronaldo at the club, Tuchel doesn’t want the Portuguese in his squad.

The Blues have been linked with moves for Leeds United winger Raphinha while also in talks with Manchester City to sign forward Raheem Sterling, as they hope to secure their first signing soon.
