Chelsea’s former manager Thomas Tuchel has sent a message to Graham Potter, who replaced him at Stamford Bridge following his sack in September.

Following a fine start at Stamford Bridge, Potter, who joined Chelsea from Brighton is beginning to come under pressure as the Blue’s form continues to dip.

Chelsea who suffered a defeat to Arsenal in the Premier League were kicked out of the Carabao Cup race by Manchester City.

For Tuchel, angst at Chelsea cannot extend beyond a “short period” or Potter will find little buy-in to his methods.

“My experience in Chelsea, Paris, Dortmund and Mainz, it is about the results.

“You can overcome one loss, a short period… but it cannot be too long otherwise nobody trusts the process no more,” Tuchel told the Ayurvedic Healing & Beyond Podcast.

Chelsea have one more game against Newcastle United before the world cup in Qatar stars and they will need to bounce back with a win else Potter could be gone by January 2023.
