Tuchel rules out move from Chelsea at least for this season

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has reacted to the claim that he would leave the club to join Man Utd.

Tuchel, in a recent statement, dismissed the reports as he said he would remain at Stamford Bridge for the remainder of the season.

The Blues have found themselves in a challenging situation owing to the sanction imposed on them by the UK government because of their link to Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich.

As of now, the Blues cannot buy or sell players, offer contracts to existing staff or sell match tickets.

Tuchel said he will ‘absolutely’ remain at Chelsea until at least the end of the campaign.

“There’s no doubt I’ll stay until the end of the season. Absolutely,” Tuchel told reporters after Chelsea’s 1-0 win over Newcastle United on Sunday.

“We just have to wait and we still have to go day-by-day because everything can change.

“But it’s pure speculation and I have no further information than you already have.”

The coach made this known after the Blues defeated Newcastle United in a 1-0 scoreline on Sunday.
