Chelsea returned action in the EPL on Wednesday night when they went head to head against Arsenal in a game that ended in a 4-2 defeat for the Blues.

The Gunners won the match thanks to a brace from Eddie Nketiah and one goal each from Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe.

While Cesar Azpilicueta and Timo Werner scored two goals for the Blues but it was not enough.

Speaking to the press after the match, Tuchel said he missed Antonio Rudiger who was unavailable for the match after suffering a groin defeat in their win against Crystal Palace in the FA.

When asked by Sky Sports whether he believes Chelsea missed Rudiger as they made defensive errors against Arsenal, Tuchel said: “Of course.”

The German added: “We conceded seven goals with Toni against Brentford and Real Madrid, that answers the question. It’s not about individual players.

“A defensive performance is a team performance, and an offensive performance is a team performance. You need to have the tactics right, which is doubtful I had this right, and you need the team selection right, again it’s doubtful I had this right.” he said.
