Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel in a recent statement has revealed one player he wouldn’t want to risk starting.

Tuchel in his statement revealed the player to be American international, Christian Pulisic.

Recall that Pulisic didn’t start for the Blues during their game vs. Leicester City in the FA Cup final over the weekend.

However, Tuchel would go-ahead to bring him in the second half at the 68th minute with the Foxes already leading the game with a 1-0 scoreline.

Speaking in a recent statement, Tuchel revealed that Pulisic deserved to start in the game but he couldn’t risk the American international suffering another injury.

”For example would Christian Pulisic have deserved to play in the FA Cup final?” said Tuchel.

“Yes, of course, and it was not a good feeling to not let him start.

“But if he was at risk of maybe re-injury and then he would be out for the next three matches, that would be the bigger regret for me.

Pulisic started for Chelsea during their game vs. Man City and Arsenal in the premier league a few days ago, he is expected to start for them when they face the Foxes again tonight in the EPL.
