The latest report has claimed that Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel wouldn’t stand in the club’s way if they wanted to sell Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner.

This comes as the Belgian and the German strikers have struggled to put up impressive performances for the Blues this season in terms of scoring goals.

Chelsea have seen more of their goals this season come from other areas aside from their two strikers and it appears Tuchel is growing impatient with their poor form.

According to Football Insider, Chelsea will accept offers for both players during the next transfer window, even thought they will be unable to recoup anywhere near to the combined £145m which they paid to sign them.

In the case of Lukaku, the Belgian cost £97.5m in 2021, and there are claims Inter Milan could return for him in the summer but on loan.

Werner was signed for £47.5m in 2020 and it is unlikely any club would be willing to pay similar amount for him.

Current Kai Havertz is the one leading the team at Stamford Bridge and the report added that Tuchel would love to bring in a new striker.
