Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has reacted as his side goes three points ahead of Man City and Liverpool this weekend.

The Blues defeated Newcastle Utd in a 3-0 scoreline at the St. James Park on Saturday as they easily picked all three points.

The same, however, couldn’t be said of EPL contenders Man City and Liverpool, who lost their points this weekend.

The Blues beat Newcastle 3-0 on Saturday to go three points clear at the top of the Premier League table.

While Liverpool lost a two-goal lead against Brighton to draw 2-2, Man City were defeated in a 2-0 scoreline at home by Crystal Palace, with Aymeric Laporte getting a straight red card before the break.

Reacting to the outcome of Liverpool and Man City matches, Tuchel said his side would never celebrate their rivals slip up as he refuses to be carried away.

“There will never be a moment where we celebrate the results on the other pitches.

“It’s first of all far too early, second of all we want to focus on ourselves, and third of all what goes around comes around, we don’t do this, there’s a long way to go.”

“If you think we are even happier now, this is absolutely not true,” he said.
