Tuchel loses out of Premier League Manager of the Month award

Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel is not among the coaches for the English Premier League Manager of the Month award.

On the other hand, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is among the nominees for the award for January.

Guardiola had won the award for November and December after taking the league leaders through an impressive run for ten consecutive times.

At the moment, Man City are seated at the top of the Premier League and are the favourite to win the league.

Other coaches who made the list include Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Bruno Lage and Norwich City’s Dean Smith.

Chelsea are currently seated at the third spot on the league table with 10 points behind Man City.

With the look of things, Chelsea are not a contender in the race to win the EPL title this season but are now focused on finishing in the top four.

The Blues have a chance of winning the Carabao League as they are in the tournament’s final and will be facing Liverpool.
