Tuchel assures fans that uncertainty around Chelsea’s future wouldn’t affect his work

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has assured the club’s supporters that the continuing uncertainty around the club’s future will not affect his work.

Tuchel, in a statement on Chelsea’s official website, said he remains relaxed and focused on the job at hand, and he is concentrating solely on things that are within his control.

This comes as the Blues have been caught up in some issues that are beyond football as they were sanctioned owing to their link with Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich.

As of now, Chelsea are expected to be taken over by new owners, which is expected to happen before the end of this season.

Tuchel said, ‘I am calm about it, because I cannot change it,’ he explained. ‘Some things in life, if you cannot change it, just let it go and do the things you can influence and do them in the best way, and this is what we do at the moment.

‘I try to be calm and I am in general not the person to worry too much, and especially not to worry too much about things I have zero influence on.’
