Jadon Sancho’s move to Manchester United relies on Champions League qualification

Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho will apparently join Manchester United this summer, only if the club secure Champions League football for the 2020-21 season.

The Red Devils continue to be vigorously connected with Jadon Sancho, who scored multiple times and gave 20 assists in 44 appearances for Borussia Dortmund during the 2019-20 campaign.

The talented youngster is purportedly ready to join the 20-time English champions, however as per report, the move relies on whether Manchester United can qualify for next season’s Champions League.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are presently fifth in the Premier League table, level on points with fourth-placed Leicester City, while they also get the opportunity to qualify for Europe’s premier tournament through the Europa League.

Manchester United agreeing a fee with Borussia Dortmund could be an issue, however, as the German club’s sporting director Michael Zorc recently demanded that the 20-year-old would not be leaving for less than the asking price.

The ex-Manchester City youngster despite everything has two years left to run on his current contract at Signal Iduna Park.
