Chelsea stay keen on signing £70m transfer target Declan Rice from West Ham and accept he could develop as a key player for the club under Frank Lampard.

The Blues have been intensely connected with a move for Declan Rice in the course of recent months and are plotting an offer for the West Ham star ahead of summer’s transfer window.
