Chelsea and Bayern Munich are facing stiff competition in the transfer market more so than on the pitch as of late — Callum Hudson-Odoi, Timo Werner, Kai Havertz ring a bell, but also Bayern capturing youngsters Bright-Arrey Mbi and Jamal Musiala from the Chelsea Academy — and that is set to proceed with this summer when we’re planned to meet on the Dayot Upamecano front line.

The Blues have been recently connected with the RB Leipzig defender, and as per report the Premier league giants are in reality taking genuine view towards a summer move.

With the long term fates of Andreas Christensen, Antonio Rüdiger and Fikayo Tomori all open to question, and Thiago Silva not getting any more younger, it wouldn’t have been long until the 22-year-old entered speculation radar.

Dayot Upamecano Is a standout amongst other young defenders in the game, and signing him would positively be a solid show of purpose.

Dayot Upamecano is supposed to be complimented by Chelsea’s interest too, but tragically, Bayern Munich are clearly still well ahead in the race since they have been arranging this transfer for quite a long while at this point.

Dayot Upamecano’s release clause remains at €42m, which shouldn’t be an issue for one or the other club, nor should his expected wages, so a ultimate choice will presumably come down to the player’s craving.

It would require greatest exertion and afterward some from our end to pry him away from Bayern Munich’s holding up arms, however in the event that anybody has the right to wear the mantle of Thiago Silva’s long term replacement, it’s him.
