Transfer Deal: PSG focus on Chelsea’s out-of-favour defender for potential January transfer

Paris Saint-Germain are eager to add out-of-favour Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger to their squad during the January transfer window.

Rudiger was part of Chelsea first team list last season but things has changed ever since Thiago Silva arrived in the summer from Paris Saint-Germain.

Silva has formed a good partnership with Kurt Zouma who has been putting in some impressive performance and it does not look like both stars are slipping up anytime soon.

Though Rudiger has shared his determination to fight for a place in the Blues team, he has however been linked with many top teams across Europe.

According to RMC Sport, Thomas Tuchel, is a big fan of Rudiger, and is keen to make a cut-price January move for the central defender.

The PSG coach is looking for an experience defender that will compete with the log list of talented defenders the club possess and Rudiger has been seen as a suitable option.

Chelsea will not be having any issue when it comes to Rudiger leaving as Andreas Christensen and Fikayo Tomori are already in place to step in should there be any issues with Silva or Zouma.

It is however uncertain if Rudiger would want to move to Paris as he might still get limited chances over there as he is at Stamford Bridge.
