Manchester United have put one of their players up for transfer in the yet to commence January transfer window.

According to Football Insider, Manchester United are eager to offload Sergio Romero for a modest fee of £2 million.

The report also revealed that the Red Devils will consider a loan transfer as well for the Argentine goalkeeper so long as the interested club are ready to pay his £100,000 per week wage.

Romero has lacked playing chances this season following his fallout with Man Utd management after he was unable to leave for Everton in the summer transfer window.

The reports revealed that Romero had a row with the United management team in private but it later got into the public sphere when his wife Eliana Guercio took to her personal Instagram.

Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer went on to take actions against the 33-year-old by refusing him game in the Premier League and Champions League.

So far, Romero has made no appearance for Man Utd in the ongoing 2020-21 campaign amid increased competition for places after Dean Henderson’s return from a loan stint at Sheffield United.
