Chelsea might lose out of signing Leeds United’s Raphinha in the summer as he reportedly prefers a move to Spanish giant Barcelona.

Raphinha has been putting up an impressive performance for Leeds United in the Premier League, and this has caught the attention of top clubs.

Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Barcelona are some of the clubs willing to sign the Brazilian, and it seems he’s heading to the La Liga.

According to popular journalist Fabrizio Romano on his podcast ‘HERE WE GO‘, Raphinha could leave Leeds United this summer and is ‘more than happy’ to join Barcelona.

The report states that Barcelona have a great professional relationship with Raphinha’s agent, Deco, who also played for the club during his playing days.

Raphinha has been in sensational form all season, scoring nine goals and giving three assists for Leeds in the Premier League.

However, his form has not reflected on Leeds United in the league as they sit in 16th place, just four points clear of the relegation zone.

Should Leeds United slip into the second tier, Raphinha’s asking price is expected to reduce significantly, a move that might favour Barcelona.
