In a recent update by transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, Malo Gusto will undergo a medical at Potter’s Chelsea on Saturday, which will come as a blow for Tottenham Hotspur.

According to Romano, the Lyon right-back Gusto will undergo medical tests at Chelsea Saturday before signing a contract with the Blues.

However, the 19-year-old right-back will remain on loan at Lyon for the rest of the season.

Romano wrote on Twitter: “Malo Gusto to Chelsea, here we go! Medical tests have been scheduled tomorrow in order to seal the deal — he’s joining in June 2023 alongside Nkunku #CFC OL will receive €30m plus add-ons and keep the player on loan.”

This is a big blow for Antonio Conte’s Tottenham, who have been linked with moves for the France star among other clubs.

The Spurs appear to have given up on him as a report revealed they have focused their attention on the hunt for another right-back.

According to The Times, the Spurs are close to completing the signing of Pedro Porro from Sporting Lisbon.
