Tottenham Hotspur chairman, Daniel Levy in a recent statement revealed a buy-back clause was included in the contract that saw Harry Kane join German side Bayern Munich.

Recall that Kane exited his boyhood club to join the Bundesliga champions in a £100million deal this summer.

In a statement at a fans’ forum, Levy revealed an interesting detail from the negotiations.

“There is a buy back clause,” he said.

Levy, however, did not give more on the details of the clause.

Before his exit, Kane was Spurs’ top scorer for nine consecutive seasons, scoring more goals than anyone else for the side with 280, before he chose to try out a new challenge in the German league.

So far this season, Kane has scored four goals in five games for Bayern, who currently sit second in the Bundesliga.

Meanwhile, Kane is likely to start for Bayern when they face Man Utd in the UCL tonight.
