Three football clubs are said to be eyeing Man Utd manager Erik ten Hag in a bid to make moves for him if he sacked at Old Trafford.

There are claims that Ten Hag was likely given until May to prove to new co-owner, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, that he is the right man to manage and rebuild at Old Trafford.

The reports this week have linked current England manager Gareth Southgate as a possible replacement for Ten Hag.

It is rumoured that Southgate will take on a new challenge after Euro 2024.

However, a report via Daily Star claims some clubs are already interested in signing Ten Hag.

The 54-year-old manager is believed to still have many admirers in the German Bundesliga.

Ten Hag worked at Bayern Munich earlier in his career and the German club could sign hin, should they fail to land their target Xabi Alonso.

Bayer Leverkusen on the other hand are confident the Spaniard will snub Bayern and another of his former club Liverpool to join them.

Stuttgart are also reported to be interested in the ex-Ajax boss.
