Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel has revealed when his summer signing Romelu Lukaku will be making his debut for the men in blue.

The European Champion re-signed Romelu Lukaku for a club record fee from Inter Milan but he arrived too late to be involved against Palace, due to current Covid-19 protocols.

Lukaku is now set to join his teammates in training this week ahead of Chelsea’s match against Arsenal at Emirates Stadium.

Speaking to press on the situation, Tuchel revealed that he expect Lukaku to finish quarantine in time to be able to join team training on Tuesday, because Monday is a day off.

He noted that the coaching crew will try to prepare Lukaku to play against Arsenal and hopefully he can be on the pitch.

Lukaku has been in a sensational form ever since he left Chelsea seven years ago.

He has grown to become one of Europe’s best striker, having played for Everton, Manchester United and Inter Milan.
