The recent reports have seen MN Utd fans calling for the sack of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as their coach.

This comes after their latest defeat to Manchester City this weekend in the EPL.

With this, Leicester City coach, Brendan Rodgers, has reached a verbal agreement to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as Manchester United’s manager, according to Caught Offside.

There are claims that Man Utd officials are ready to make a change and have spoken to Rodgers.

The reports claim Rodgers has verbally agreed to a deal, but there are still hurdles to overcome before a deal is completed.

Although the Red Devils want to hire Rodgers now, he prefers to wait until the end of the season.

The reports claim that discussions are ongoing as both sides try to reach an agreement.

A source close to the deal said: “Brendan Rodgers to Manchester United…he’s agreed to it, there’s just question marks over when he’ll take over. That could be at the end of the season, which he would prefer, but United are pushing for now.”

The Red Devils had wanted to bring in former Chelsea coach Antonio Conte as a replacement for Solskjaer, but Tottenham has since signed the Italian.
