This Chelsea star reportedly in advance talks with Real Madrid

The recent reports have revealed that Chelsea defender and Germany international Antonio Rudiger has reached an advance talk with Spanish club Real Madrid.

This comes as Rudiger’s contract with the Blues will lapse at the end of the season.

While Chelsea are determined to keep him at Stamford Bridge, Rudiger is pushing for a move away from the West London club as the deal being offered to him is not what he wants.

Real Madrid, on the other hand, are willing to give Rudiger the offer he desires as they seek a new defender after the departures of Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane.

The Los Blancos have been strongly linked with a swoop for Rudiger, who Bayern Munich and AS Roma also want.

In a recent report, transfer expert Pedro Almeida has dealt a blow to Chelsea’s hopes of renewal, posting on social media: “At this moment, negotiations between Real Madrid and António Rudiger are advanced. Chelsea still hasn’t given up on renewing the German player’s contract.”

There are already claim that Real Madrid are willing to offload up to four players to fund a move for Rudiger.

So far this season, the 28-year-old defender has played the full 90 minutes in 10 Premier League games.
