This Chelsea winger has a higher chances of joining AC Milan

A report has claimed that Chelsea attacker Hakim Ziyech has a 99% chance of joining Italian club AC Milan soon as speculation of his departure from the West London side continues to build up.

Speaking during an interview with 1 Station Radio (via Sport Witness), Rai journalist Ciro Venerato shared his thoughts on the future of Ziyech who has been impressive for Morocco in the ongoing 2022 Qatar World Cup.

Morocco, who are the only African country in the tournament are in the quarter-finals where they will face Portugal after knocking Spain out on penalties.

However, the same can’t be said about Ziyech at Chelsea where he has had very little game time since Graham Potter became the coach.

This is why there are claims that he would be on the move either in January or in the summer at the latest and Venerato seems to think that there is a very high chance that he will be headed to AC Milan.

“The Rossoneri are afraid of losing Leao, but in January, we will need to understand what to do with Charles De Ketelaere and whether we continue to trust him. However, the Ziyech deal with Chelsea will 99% go through,” Venerato said.

While Milan would favour a loan transfer for Ziyech, Chelsea may demand an outright permanent sale.
