Chelsea emerged victorious in their London derby vs Tottenham Hotspur in the EPL on Sunday evening.

The game saw the Blues win the game by three goals to nothing thanks to efforts from Thiago Silva, N’Golo Kante and Antonio Rudiger.

With their latest win against Tottenham, the Blues remain at the top of the league table alongside Man Utd and Liverpool.

However, their win against the Hotspur has seen Silva set a new record for himself as the Brazilian has now become the second oldest Chelsea player to score in the EPL behind only Didier Drogba at aged 36 years and 362 days.

Drogba, during his time at Stamford Bridge, had scored against Leicester City at age 37 years and 49 days in April 2015.

Following his latest feat, Silva would now rest to return to action when the Blues take on Man City in their next EPL game.

However, Chelsea will return to action on Tuesday night when they face Aston Villa in the EFL, and they would hope to continue their top performance in the league as well.
