Former Aston Villa striker, Gabby Agbonlahor, in a statement advised Barcelona star, Frenkie de Jong, to consider a move to Chelsea instead of joining Manchester United this summer.

According to Agbonlahor Man United have problems that will take them a while to win the Champions League or the Premier League.

It is no longer news that De Jong has been linked with a move away from Camp Nou this summer with the likes of Man United and Chelsea interested in him.

“De Jong, if he’s leaving Barcelona, he doesn’t want to go to Manchester United. There are quotes that have come out that he would rather Bayern Munich, he would rather Chelsea,” Agbonlahor said on talkSPORT Breakfast.

“Because if I am choosing a team in the Premier League and I have got the chance of Chelsea or Manchester United, I am choosing Chelsea.”

Agbonlahor added: “They have got problems and it is going to take them a while to get a chance of winning the Premier League or the Champions League.
