Chelsea will return to action in the second leg of the Uefa Champions League during the midweek when they travel to Spain to play Real Madrid.

The Blues would hope to make a shocking comeback, having suffered a 3-1 defeat in the first leg at Stamford Bridge last week.

Ahead of the match, Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel said he remains unsure whether the Blues captain and defender Cesar Azpilicueta, who missed their game vs Southampton on Saturday due to Covid, will be available for the match.

The German manager is also not sure if an injured Romelu Lukaku will be available for Tuesday’s game in Madrid.

‘He [Lukaku] wasn’t in training on Friday, he was in too much pain,’ he reported. ‘There is not a lot of time, we have only two training sessions, and we leave the country on Monday. We need to wait, I have no answer right now.’

Chelsea will be travelling to Spain after their recent win against Southampton in the EPL, which ended in a 6-0 scoreline at the St. Mary stadium.
