Former Chelsea player, Wayne Bridge has fingered two Blues players as stand outs under Thomas Tuchel at Stamford Bridge.

According to Bridge, the Blues players; Mason Mount and Thiago Silva are standout players.

Chelsea have undergone a tremendous transformation under Tuchel who took over from Frank Lampard as coach in January.

Under Tuchel, the Blues as a whole have put in an impressive performance that have seen them make it to the finals in FA Cup and the UEFA Champions League where they would play against Leicester City and Man City respectively.

“Mason Mount stands out massively for me. Frank Lampard spoke very highly of him,” Bridge was quoted by Football London as saying.

He noted that Mount looks so comfortable on the ball and impresses him in every game he plays. He added that the English player is always trying to create something and has always been the most consistent performer at Stamford Bridge.

On Silva, Bridge said, the experienced defender has been massive for the players around him. He is got so much experience and helps the defenders around him, like Rudiger and Christensen.
