Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino is keen on making some drastic changes in his team amid their poor form this season.

The recent reports revealed the Blues are planning to sell seven players in the forthcoming January transfer window.

This comes as Chelsea suffered their seventh league defeat in 16 games on Sunday, losing 2-0 to Everton.

The result saw the West Londoners drop to 12th place on the table.

Chelsea are now below London rivals Fulham and Brentford, putting Pochettino under pressure at Stamford Bridge.

TEAMtalk reports that talks have been ongoing between the former Tottenham Hotspurs boss and directors about which players are not performing at a high enough level to be at Chelsea for the foreseeable future.

The players deemed not to be good enough include Noni Madueke, Trevoh Chalobah, Armando Broja, Marc Cucurella, Axel Disasi, Ian Maatsen, and Malo Gusto.

They would all be available for sale in the next two transfer windows.
