Belgium international Eden Hazard is again in the news as he is up for a transfer away from Real Madrid.

There are already claims linking Hazard with a return to Stamford Bridge; however, the latest report has claimed the Blues will only consider signing their former talisman if the transfer price is low.

Hazard had a successful stint at Stamford Bridge, but his time at the Bernabeu has been in sharp contrast as he has been affected by injuries and loss of form.

So far this season, the 31-year-old forward has been provided with six starts and eight substitute outings in La Liga and the Champions League.

But the Los Blancos are still not impressed by his performance and are prepared to sell for the right price.

Earlier in the January transfer window, the reports claimed that Newcastle United had been successful with a £33.4m bid, only for Hazard to reject a move to St James’ Park.

According to El Nacional, Chelsea are currently unwilling to go beyond £21m, naturally resulting in an impasse between the relevant parties.

The report claimed that Hazard is happy to remain at Real Madrid until the end of the season, after which he would decide on his future.
