The EPL record Chelsea’s Ukraine star broke during their game vs Liverpool

Chelsea’s new signing and Ukraine winger, Mykhaylo Mudryk is now the fastest player in the Premier League this season during his debut.

The Ukraine international, who moved to Stamford Bridge in an £87m move from Shakhtar Donetsk this month is already making waves in the EPL despite playing in only one match.

Recall that Mudryk made his first appearance for the club at Anfield when they played Liverpool last weekend.

While the 22-year-old didn’t start, he came on in place of Lewis Hall in the second half and impressed within a short time.

Despite having only been on the pitch for just over half an hour, Mudryk broke a Premier League record for the current campaign.

He is expected to make his first start in the Blues’ next game as they work towards rebuilding their squad and returning to the top four on the league table.
