Terry names three Chelsea player that impress him
Former Chelsea star John Terry has named three players that impressed in the Blues squad after their weekend defeat to West Ham.
The West London side suffered a 3-1 defeat vs West Ham at the London Stadium.
The trio of Nayef Aguerd, Michail Antonio and Lucas Paqueta all scored for West Ham as Chelsea’s Carney Chukwuemeka managed to score a goal for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
Despite the defeat against West Ham, Terry took to his X (formerly Twitter) account to single out Raheem Sterling, Nicolas Jackson and Axel Disasi for praise.
The former Chelsea captain tweeted: “I really like the look of @axeldisasi.”
“I love the look of Nicolas Jackson, seems like a right handful to play against and a constant threat behind. Sterling is on fire.”
Chelsea will now hope to have their first win this season in their next game against Luton Town on Friday, having been held to a 1-1 draw in the season opener vs Liverpool.
