Ten Hag reveals the next player Man Utd must sign

Manchester United have bolstered their squad this summer by signing a new midfielder and goalkeeper for their manager Erik ten Hag, who now wants a striker before the transfer window closes.

The recent report revealed the Red Devils are set to go all out for a new striker and are already in talks with Atalanta over Rasmus Hojlund.

So far this summer window, the Red Devils have brought in midfielder Mason Mount from Chelsea and goalkeeper Andre Onana from Serie A side Inter Milan.

But Ten Hag has said signing a new striker is the club’s next priority.

The Red Devils have been linked with a move to sign Hojlund after deciding that a move for Tottenham’s Harry Kane is unrealistic, but have been frustrated by Atalanta’s £86million valuation.

“We will do everything that’s in our power to get the right man in.

“You never know in the transfer market, but we know our targets and we’ll do everything we can. We put every effort into getting this done because it’s an area where we need improvement.

“We proved also last season we can be very successful even though we didn’t have too many strikers. I expect more from the front players, a high level. They have to raise the bar and we expect more goals,” Ten Hag said.
