Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag has set a condition Jadon Sancho must fulfil to return to the first team training.

According to the reports, Ten Hag wants Sancho to apologise for his social media outburst in which the player said he has been “made a scapegoat for a long time.”

The Red Devils in a statement released on Thursday said that Sancho is currently on a “personal training programme” pending a resolution of a “squad discipline issue.”

A report via Sky Sports revealed Ten Hag will not back down as he doesn’t want his authority to be challenged.

The former Ajax manager wants Sancho to issue an apology to him and the club.

Recall that Sancho was left out of the squad for the trip to Arsenal on Sunday, September 3, with manager Ten Hag explaining after the game that the decision was due to poor training performances.

However, on that same day, the former Borussia Dortmund star claimed he had been “a scapegoat for a long time” in a social media post and said Ten Hag’s claims were “completely untrue.”
